This letter is in response to the applicant’s communication received on September 26, 2013. In its response the applicant provided a disclaimer, which is accepted. However, the applicant should note the following.
Upon further consideration, the assigned examining attorney has reviewed the referenced application and determined the following. Every attempt is made to address all relevant issues in the first examination of trademark applications. The examining attorney regrets any inconvenience to the applicant at this time.
IDENTIFICATION OF GOODS
The applicant may adopt the following wording if accurate:
Structural metal connectors that connect the channel sections of underground conveyor structure, in International Class 6.
Please note that, while the identification of goods may be amended to clarify or limit the goods, adding to the goods or broadening the scope of the goods is not permitted. 37 C.F.R. §2.71(a); TMEP §1402.06. Therefore, applicant may not amend the identification to include goods that are not within the scope of the goods set forth in the present identification.
