SEARCH OF OFFICE’S DATABASE OF MARKS
The Office records have been searched and there are no similar registered or pending marks that would bar registration under Trademark Act Section 2(d), 15 U.S.C. §1052(d). TMEP §704.02.
RECITATION AND CLASSIFICATION OF SERVICES
The recitation of services is indefinite and must be clarified because it could include services in other international classes. See TMEP §1402.01. Anything in bold requires deletion, clarification or reclassification.
Class 9: acceptable as submitted.
Class 35: Providing a website featuring online services for gathering and managing information about events, activities and appointments for children and adults in a wide range of leisure, entertainment, education and service categories; for online registration for events and activities and online booking of appointments; for maintaining online schedules and calendars of events, activities and appointments; for organizing and scheduling carpools to events, activities and appointments; and for advertising and promoting the businesses of event, activity and service providers
Providing on-line registration services for {indicate event or function, e.g., sports tournament, instructional classes}[not domain names]
It is unclear how the online schedules and calendars and carpools are scheduled. Is it not via the computer software in both Classes 9 and 42? Further information is requested as what the online services for gathering and managing information are.

Although recitations of services may be amended to clarify or limit the services, adding to or broadening the scope of the services is not permitted. 37 C.F.R. §2.71(a); see TMEP §§1402.06 et seq., 1402.07. Therefore, applicant may not amend the recitation to include services that are not within the scope of the services set forth in the present recitation.
