I am working with Joe Englander on the trademark application for FACE (Ser. No. 85664299).  Our client agrees with your first recommendation below.  However, they would like to replace the word  “patients” with “students”.   This is a minimal yet important distinction.  As such, please amend the identification as follow:

 

"education services for autism students, namely, providing classes, seminars, workshops, and tutoringin the fields of academic and social development, adaptive physical education, speech and language therapy, character development, and providing care."

I am the examining attorney assigned to the above-captioned new application.  I can immediately approve it for publication if you authorize me to enter an Examiner Amendment that clarifies the ID slightly; as it is ("…providing care, for autism patients"), I'm not sure if "for autism patients" is meant to modify everything or only "care."

 

·         If the former, I recommend: "education services for autism patients, namely, providing classes, seminars, workshops, and tutoringin the fields of academic and social development, adaptive physical education, speech and language therapy, character development, and providing care."

·         If the latter, I recommend: "education services, namely, providing classes, seminars, workshops, and tutoringin the fields of academic and social development, adaptive physical education, speech and language therapy, character development, and providing care for autism patients."

 

I suppose that still another possibility (if typicals are being trained regarding autistics) would be "education services, namely, providing classes, seminars, workshops, and tutoringin the fields of academic and social development for autism patients, adaptive physical education for autism patients, speech and language therapy for autism patients, character development for autism patients, and providing care for autism patients."
