To the Commissioner for Trademarks:

Applicant proposes to amend the mark as follows:

The applicant is not claiming color as a feature of the mark.
The mark consists of entwined letters "P" and "V" inside a box.

CLASSIFICATION AND LISTING OF GOODS/SERVICES
Applicant hereby deletes the following class of goods/services from the application.
Class 021 for metal valves

Applicant hereby adds the following class of goods/services to the application:
New: Class 006 (Original Class: 021 ) for metal valves not being parts of machines
Filing Basis: Section 1(a), Use in Commerce: The mark was first used at least as early as 12/31/1960 and first used in commerce at least as early as 12/31/1960 , and is now in use in such commerce.
Applicant hereby submits a specimen for Class 006 . The specimen(s) submitted consists of mark shown on product .

Miscellaneous Statement
The Applicant has contacted the owner of the cited registration and the parties are attempting to negotiate a potential resolution to the citation. Applicant also submits, with regards to the Examiner's request for additional information, that Applicant's metal valves are pressure valves.
