Subject: TM SN: 79238792 - SIGNIFY - Examiner's Amendment Inquiry
Docket No.: 2018T85007WO
Dear Mr. Piotrowski:
I am writing about certain identification in the amended identification that require amendment. Specifically the word “for” appears twice in “computer software programs for for controlling and operating lighting apparatus and lighting systems” and the following amendment causes ambiguity as to whether there are two goods or one identified: “remote control apparatus for controlling lightingmobile software applications for controlling and operating lighting apparatus and lighting systems.”
The following may be adopted if accurate:
IC 009 Control apparatus for lighting apparatus and lighting systems; computer software programs for
forcontrolling and operating lighting apparatus and lighting systems; lighting control apparatus; lighting control systems comprised of lighting panel control boards, lighting controls, computer hardware and software for controlling lighting devices within a building, and computer hardware and software for remotely controlling indoor and outdoor lighting devices; remote control apparatus for controlling lighting; mobile software applications for controlling and operating lighting apparatus and lighting systems; projectors, namely, picture projectors, cinematographic projectors, LCD projectors; ballasts for lighting installations; light emitting diodes (leds), organic light emitting diodes (oleds), laser diodes and zener diodes; lasers not for medical use; electronic components for lighting in the nature of LED modules and Light emitting diodes (LEDs); electronic sensors for measuring light and motion, not for medical use and detectors, namely, light detectors and motion detectors, all for controlling and switching of lighting apparatus and lighting systems; starters for electric fluorescent lights; replacement parts of the aforementioned goods
The identification in classes 011 and 042 do not require further amendment.
If you would like to approve an Examiner’s Amendment, please confirm your approval for the changes by Friday, April 19.
Thank you and please let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
/Sarah E. Kunkleman/
