REMARKS
The recitation of services has been amended in accordance with the Examining Attorney's requirement. It is respectfully submitted that the recitation of services, as amended, is sufficiently definite for purposes of registration and acceptance is respectfully urged.
The Examining Attorney has inquired as to whether the term DST has any significance in the oil and/or filtration trade or industry or as applied to the services described in the application, or if such letters represent a “term of art” within applicant’s industry. In response to the Examining Attorney’s inquiry, Applicant can advise that the term DST has no particular significance in the oil and/or filtration trade or industry or as applied to the services described in the application. Furthermore, the term DST is not a “term of art” within applicant’s industry. The only significance of the term DST is that of Applicant's trademark. As such, Applicant has entered a statement into the record confirming the same.
In accordance with the Examining Attorney’s request, the Applicant has clarified its entity status and has revised the Description of the Mark.
Attached is an executed Declaration and Power of Attorney document. Applicant requests that all future correspondence be directed to its US attorneys.
Applicant is pleased to note that a search of the Trademark Office records identified no similar registered or pending mark which would bar registration under Trademark Act Section 2(d).
