Dear Kim:
You are the Examining Attorney for the captioned Madrid/IR extension application, and we have just been appointed attorneys of record today. I filed the Revocation and New Power of Attorney an hour ago (see attachment). My client has advised me that it is willing to agree to the disclaimer requirement you made for the words “TECHNO-TAILORED.” Since we are going to do that, do you still need us to respond to the information requirement you made in the application? Those requests all deal with the terms “techno” and “tailored.” With the disclaimer there really does not seem to be a need to submit answers to your questions.
Please let me know, as that obviously will be influence how we respond.
