To the Commissioner for Trademarks:

Application serial no. 78884800 has been amended as follows:
Classification and Listing of Goods/Services

Applicant hereby amends the following class of goods/services in the application as follows:
Current: Class 009 for Semiconductors; Packages for Semiconductor Integrated Circuits; Lead Frames for Semiconductor Devices; Electronic Machines, Apparatus and their Parts
Original Filing Basis: 44(e).

Section 44(e) Based on Foreign Registration: Applicant has a bona fide intention to use the mark in commerce on or in connection with the identified goods and /or services, and will submit a copy of [ Japan registration number 4936415 registered 03/10/2006 with a renewal date of 03/10/2016 and an expiration date of 03/10/2016 ], and translation thereof, if appropriate, before the application may proceed to registration. 15 U.S.C. Section 1126(e), as amended.

Additional Statements

Regarding a specimen of the identified goods requested by the Examiner, the Applicant herein attached a photocopy of relevant pages of Applicant's corporate brochure showing semiconductor integrated circuit (“IC”) lead frames for semiconductor devices. A semiconductor integrated circuit lead frame is a metal frame that holds an IC. The identified goods support development of industrial technology, are used in manufacturing a wide variety of consumer electronics, all while respecting environmental concerns. Regarding the significance of "HMT”, “HMT” does not have any significance in the electronics trade or industry, any geographical significance, any meaning in a foreign language or stand for “hexamethlylenetetramine.” Also, “HMT” is an abbreviation of “Hybrid-Manufacturing-Technologies.”
