ISSUE/MAILING DATE: 3/4/2014
U.S. Registration Number 3372819
The Section 7(g) Request for Correction submitted on February 10, 2014 is not accepted for the reasons set forth below.
After consideration of the response and the facts of record, a Combined Declaration of Use and Incontestability under Sections 8 & 15 submitted on January 22, 2014, requested that the goods “MEDICAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT IN THE FIELD OF VECTOR PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGIES” be deleted from class 42. Therefore, the Section 7(g) Request for Correction submitted on February 10, 2014 actually requested the same deletion of goods that should have occurred in the maintenance filing of the Combined Declaration of Use and Incontestability under Sections 8 & 15 previously filed and accepted on February 3, 2014.
In view of the executed Combined Declaration of Use and Incontestability under Sections 8 & 15 accepted on February 3, 2014 which should have deleted the goods, “MEDICAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT IN THE FIELD OF VECTOR PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGIES”, the corrections will be made as a part of the maintenance filling and the Section 7 Corrections is considered to be moot.
