EXPLANATION OF FILING
The current registration was issued on September 28, 2010 for the word mark ENRICH IT in standard characters, with the term "IT" disclaimed. Since then, registrant has shortened its ENRICH IT mark to ENRICH, dispensing of the disclaimed "IT" term. Therefore, registrant respectfully requests that its current registration be amended accordingly to the word mark ENRICH (without the term "IT"). Amending the registration in this manner will not constitute a material alteration of the registered ENRICH IT mark because the portion of the registered mark that is being removed by amendment - the term "IT" - has already been disclaimed as a descriptive term. The amended ENRICH mark, therefore, contains the essence of the original registered ENRICH IT mark, and the amended mark creates the impression of essentially the same mark. Therefore, good cause exists for registrant's request to amend the current registration to the ENRICH word mark.
