EXPLANATION OF FILING
Registrant hereby seeks to amend the registered mark to delete the wording "10" from the mark, thereby amending the mark, so that the mark is "SUPERPRO". Pursuant to TMEP §1609.02(a), a change that relates to generic or purely informational term is permitted; i.e., “a generic or purely informational term may be deleted if the essence of the mark in appearance or meaning is not changed.” Registrant submits that deleting the generic or purely informational portion of the mark, "10", will not change the essence of the mark in appearance or meaning, and is therefore a change that is permitted with the filing of a Section 7 request. Also submitted herewith are materials showing the manner in which the amended mark is being used in connection with the services covered by the registration. Registrant has simultaneously filed a Combined Declaration of Use and Application for Renewal Under Sections 8&9 on this same date.
