RECITATION OF SERVICES
Providing online links is like providing information. The applicant must classify the services by the nature of the subject matter. Therefore, the applicant must specify the type of news information and classify accordingly. For example, news in the field of sports is International Class 41 whereas financial news is classified in International Class 36. The following is suggested:
Computer software for searching and retrieving information, websites and other resources from a global computer information network; computer software for accessing information directories that may be downloaded from the global computer network; software for searching and retrieving media information, including news, weather, sports, current events and reference materials from a global computer network; enterprise and resource planning (ERP) software; computer software for use with management information systems that integrate and automate business operations and production, including, logistics, accounting, human resources and customer relationship management software in International Class 9.
Providing online directories and searchable databases in connection with searching and retrieving media information including news, weather, sports, current events and reference materials in International Class 35.
Communication services, namely, electronic transmission of data and documents among users of computers and wireless products; telecommunication services, namely, providing electronic transmission of data, images and documents via computer terminals, networks and wireless devices; providing online facilities for real-time interaction with other computer users concerning topics of general interest; providing online chat rooms in the field of news, current affairs, company information, industry movers and shakers and industry specific topics and electronic bulletin and message boards in the field of news, current affairs, company information, industry movers and shakers and industry specific topics for transmission of messages among users; electronic mail services; wireless broadband communications and electronic transmission of data, sound messages, images, and documents; providing access to computer databases in International Class 38.
Providing online links to sports and news in the field of current events in International Class 41.
Computer services, namely, creating indexes of information, knowledge databases, information directories and other resources available on computer networks; searching and retrieving information, sites and other resources available on computer networks for others; providing a search engine for obtaining or analyzing information by means of a global computer network; providing online links to weather, and news in the field of current events; Application service provider (ASP), namely, hosting computer software applications of others in International Class 42.

Therefore, applicant may not amend the identification to include goods that are not within the scope of the goods set forth in the present identification.
If applicant prosecutes this application as a combined, or multiple-class application, applicant must comply with each of the following for those goods and/or services based on an intent to use the mark in commerce under Trademark Act Section 1(b):
(1) Applicant must list the goods and/or services by international class with the classes listed in ascending numerical order; and
(2) Applicant must submit a filing fee for each international class of goods and/or services not covered by the fee already paid (current fee information should be confirmed at http://www.uspto.gov).
