NOTICE OF SUSPENSION
Action on this application is suspended pending receipt of a true copy, a photocopy, a certification, or a certified copy of a foreign registration from the applicant's country of origin. If the registration is in a foreign language, an English translation must be submitted. The true copy, photocopy, certification, or certified copy of the registration should be forwarded to the Examining Attorney as soon as possible. If the foreign application is abandoned, the Examining Attorney should be advised. The examining attorney conditionally withdraws the Section 2(d) refusals and references to the prior pending applications assuming that the applicant’s identification of goods is limited to the goods listed in the applicant’s unacceptable amended identification. Please note that the examining attorney presumed that the applicant submitted a stylized drawing that will match the anticipated foreign registration(s) and did not, therefore, make a requirement to display the drawing in typed form. However, the requirement for an acceptable identification of goods and/or services is maintained and continued.

Fee Change
Effective January 1, 2003, the fee for filing an application for trademark registration will be increased to $335.00 per International Class. The USPTO will not accord a filing date to applications that are filed on or after that date that are not accompanied by a minimum of $335.00.
Additionally, the fee for amending an existing application to add an additional class or classes of goods/services will be $335.00 per class for classes added on or after January 1, 2003.
