EXAMINER’S AMENDMENT
DATABASE SEARCH: The trademark examining attorney has searched the USPTO’s database of registered and pending marks and has found no conflicting marks that would bar registration under Trademark Act Section 2(d). TMEP §704.02; see 15 U.S.C. §1052(d).
APPLICATION HAS BEEN AMENDED: In accordance with the authorization granted by William W. Jones, Esq. on March 15, 2013, the trademark examining attorney has amended the application as indicated below. Please advise the undersigned immediately of any objections. Otherwise, no response is necessary. TMEP §707. Any amendments to the identification of goods may clarify or limit the goods, but may not add to or broaden the scope of the goods. 37 C.F.R. §2.71(a); see TMEP §§1402.06 et seq.
The identification of goods is amended to read as follows:
“Probes for medical purposes, injection needles for medical use and needles for medical purposes, namely, tools for manipulating, holding, transferring and denuding human gametes or embryos for assisted hatching, for intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICS I) and for other assisted reproduction in-vitro fertilization procedures” in International Class 010.

The following description of the mark is added to the record:
The mark consists of the Greek lower case letter Mu “µ”, followed by the upper case Latin letter “P”, followed by the design of an upward pointing needle with the top tip bent leftward, followed by the lower case Latin letters “PETS”, from left to right; a single line appears under the lettering.

The following statement is added to the record:
The wording “µPLPETS” has no meaning other than trademark significance.
