The Office records have been searched and there are no similar registered or pending marks that would bar registration under Trademark Act Section 2(d), 15 U.S.C. §1052(d). TMEP §704.02.

 

FOREIGN REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE REQUIRED

 

The applicant must submit an English translation of the foreign registration.  37 C.F.R. §2.34(a)(3)(ii).  The translation should be signed by the translator.  TMEP §1004.01(b).

 

EXPLANATION OF MARK’S SIGNIFICANCE REQUIRED

 

Applicant must explain whether “TAGO” has any meaning or significance in the industry in which the goods and/or services are manufactured/provided, or if such wording is a “term of art” within applicant’s industry.  Applicant must also explain whether this wording identifies a geographic place or has a meaning in a foreign language.  See 37 C.F.R. §2.61(b); TMEP §814.
