OFFICE SEARCH: The examining attorney has searched the Office’s database of registered and pending marksand has found no conflicting marks thatwould bar registration under Trademark Act Section 2(d). 15 U.S.C. §1052(d); TMEP §704.02.

AMENDMENT: In accordance with the authorization granted by Gary Cohan on September 23, 2009, the application has been AMENDED as indicated below. Please advise the undersigned examining attorney immediately if there is an objection to the amendment. Otherwise, no response is necessary. TMEP §707.

In the ID, “organizing social events, namely, parties and sporting tournaments” is outside the scope of the foreign registration, which is limited to “sporting tournaments, namely, hockey, football, soccer, golf and baseball”. Need to require that the tournaments be specified as listed in the foreign registration.

Standard Character Claim

“The mark consists of standard characters without claim to any particular font, style, size, or color.”

If the identification of goods and/or services has been amended, please note that any future amendments must be in accordance with 37 C.F.R. §2.71(a) and TMEP §1402.07(e).
