The Office records have been searched and no similar registered or pending mark has been found that would bar registration under Trademark Act Section 2(d), 15 U.S.C. §1052(d). TMEP §704.02.
Applicant must respond to the following requirement:
Identification of Services
The wording “conferences” in the identification of services is indefinite and must be clarified to indicate that these are “educational conferences” as opposed to “business conferences” which would be in Class 035. TMEP §1402.01. Applicant may substitute the following wording, if accurate: “educational conferences.”
Please note that, while an application may be amended to clarify or limit the identification, additions to the identification are not permitted. 37 C.F.R. §2.71(a); TMEP §1402.06. Therefore, the applicant may not amend to include any goods or services that are not within the scope of those set forth in the present identification.

Significance
Applicant must specify whether “MBI” has any significance in the educational or business trade or industry, any geographical significance, or any meaning in a foreign language. Specifically, applicant must state whether “MBI” stands for “Masters in Business Investment.” 37 C.F.R. §2.61(b).
