To the Commissioner for Trademarks:

Application serial no. 76673502 has been amended as follows:

Applicant proposes to amend the mark as follows:
Current: AZE VIRTUAL PLACE (standard characters)

The mark consists of standard characters, without claim to any particular font, style, size, or color.

ARGUMENT(S)
In response to the substantive refusal(s), please note the following:

Further to the June 5, 2008 telephone conference between Applicant's counsel and Examining Attorney Jason Turner, Applicant hereby amends its mark from AZE VIRTUAL PLACE to AZE VIRTUALPLACE.

 

During the June 5, 2008 telephone conference Examining Attorney Turner indicated that this amendment would not be considered a material alteration of the mark.  Accordingly, the amendment should be accepted under TMEP Section 807.14.
