The current identification of services is indefinite. Inquiry is made regarding the activity of “practicing”; please define this activity with more specificity—is it directed to practice teaching techniques, or similar activities? If so , please amend the identification to so state,

 

The identification of services for the other activities should be clarified to read as follows, if accurate:

 

Educational services namely conducting instruction and teaching in the field of acquiring academic skills and knowledge; assessments of academic skills and knowledge; contests to encourage students and schools to set up and achieve goals in  acquiring academic skills and knowledge in international class 41.

 

Please note that, while the identification of services may be amended to clarify or limit the services, adding to the services or broadening the scope of the services is not permitted.  37 C.F.R. §2.71(a); TMEP §1402.06.  Therefore, applicant may not amend the identification to include services that are not within the scope of the services set forth in the present identification.
