This letter responds to the Applicant’s communication received February 27, 2006.

 

The applicant amended the application to specify that there is no known significance of the term RAMIRANA.  This amendment is acceptable and has been entered into the record.

 

The applicant has not expressed an intent to rely solely on the foreign registration as the basis for registration.  Therefore, this Office will presume that the applicant wishes to rely on both Section 1(b) and Section 44(e) as the bases for registration

 

Translation of the Foreign Application 

 

The applicant must submit an English translation of the foreign application.

And, upon issue, the applicant must submit an English translation of the foreign registration signed by the translator.  37 C.F.R. §2.34(a)(3)(ii); TMEP §1004.01(b).

 

Response Guidelines

 

No set form is required for response to this Office action.  However, Applicant’s response should adhere to the following general guidelines:
