The Section 7(g) Request for Correction submitted on July 20, 2005 is not accepted for the reasons set forth below.
Upon review of the Office records, it has been determined that this correction must be processed under 37 C.F.R., correction of mistake by registrant.
The file of the registration contains neither a notification of recordation nor a notification of filing a document in the Assignment Branch. The applicant/assignee bears the burden of recording and notifying appropriate Office personnel of assignments or changes of name to ensure the registration issues in the name of a new owner.
The owner must submit the filing fee of $100 for the Section 7 correction.
The owner has six months from the mailing date of this letter to respond to all the issues raised in this letter. If a complete response is not received in the Office within this time period, then the Section 7 Request for Correction will be considered abandoned. 37 C.F.R. §2.176.
