Action on this application is suspended for  months until the Examining Attorney can determine whether the cited registration will be surrendered and cancelled under §7.

A final office action will issue after suspension based upon the identification of services.  “Educational services” are beyond the scope of the original identification.  Even if it were within the scope, the mode of instruction would be required.  Additionally, “providing information” is not “educational services.”  Thus, as required in the first office action, the applicant must follow standard “information identification” rules.  The ID manual gives the following form and explanation with regard to information identifications:

000   Providing information in the field of [indicate service-related subject matter or nature of information][classification depends on subject matter]

For proper classification, identification must either indicate nature of information, e.g., business (35), travel (39), health (44) or the subject matter in such a way that it may be classified, e.g., automobile repair (37), hotel services (43), hockey games(41). The subject matter should be set forth so that it connects the content to a service for accurate classification.
