Applicant is filing this Section 8 and 9 renewal for the goods "Paintball markers, paintball ammunition, namely, paintballs." These are the same goods as listed in the July 20, 2011
Section 8 filing for this application (see attached copy). It was noted during the review for this renewal that the goods were marked with brackets as "[ Paintball markers, ] components for paintball
markers, namely, containers, fill adapters, regulators, barrels, fill adapters, open sights, telescopic sights; paintball guns for firing tag cartridges; paintball accessories, namely, tagging
pellets and cartridges; [ paintball ammunition, namely, paintballs ] and pellets." This is actually the opposite of Applicant's prior Section 8 renewal statement, and appears to be a Trademark Office
error. Acceptance of the present Section 9 renewal for the goods as listed in the prior Section 8 renewal is respectfully requested, in addition to correction of the mark-ups of the goods in the
records of the Trademark Office. It is noted that "Paintball markers" are another name for "paintball guns," and "paintball ammunition, namely, paintballs," are a type of "paintball accessories,
namely, tagging pellets." For consistency, as to accurately reflect the prior Section 8 Declaration, the goods deleted with the prior Section 8 filing have again been deleted. This was also necessary
due to the constraints of the electronic renewal system. |
