In response to the "Proposed Mark is Generic and does not function as a Trademark:
I wish to note that all of the specimens attached refer to my cheese that I have been selling in commerce over the last 7 or 8 years. Paola 's is a restaurant in Arizona that uses the cheese,
Wegmans a chain of specialty foods that we sell to , and Sini Fulvi is another company that I own.
Re Translation of the Mark - this is a mixed milk cheese from the region of La Mancha, Spain. Before 1985 this cheese was called Manchego --as a type of cheese but then a Denomination of origin
was created protecting which types of cheese could be called Manchego. The type of this cheese is Mixed Milk - cow/goat/sheep. Campo de Montalban is our name of the cheese. It is a
fanciful name coined by the producers who live in La Puebla de Montalban and gave the cheese a name which we have popularized in the U.S. and created an excellent following.
