The original registration application was filed on January 31, 2002, and the mark was registered on July 15, 2003. At the time the application was filed, the owner was identified as Y. K. Products, LLC. However, there was a mistake in the manner in which the name of the applicant was set out. The applicant’s true name should have been YK Products LLC. Although, the applicant made an error in identifying the owner name at the time the application was filed, it was the actual owner of the mark. Therefore, the applicant requests that its name to corrected to reflect the true name of the applicant. This request for correction does not substitute another party as the applicant or registrant because the application was filed by the entity that owned and still owns the mark.
