Response to Office Action for Post-Registration Matters

To the Commissioner for Trademarks:

The following is submitted for registration number. 2927133 :

FORM INFORMATION

The Trademark Specialist of the Post Registration Division pointed out that the Section 8 Affidavit was filed in the name of Bitdefender IPR Management Ltd. (Cyprus Limited Company (ltd.)), although the registration is in the name of Bitdefender IPR Management Ltd. (Cyprus Limited Liability Company).

Per the Trademark Specialist's suggestion, Registrant submitted a Section 7 request to correct with the following explanation:

The Registrant, Bitdefender IPR Management Ltd., a limited company (ltd.) of Cyprus, was erroneously identified as a "limited liability company" on the cover sheet for the assignment recorded in 2008 (see http://tsdr.gov.uspto.report/caseviewer/assignments?caseId=2927133&docIndex=1#docIndex=1). Registrant was correctly identified in the assignment document with "ltd." in its name.

Registrant respectfully requests that this minor, correctable error in the entity type (ltd. vs. LLC) be corrected in the record, as recent maintenance documents accurately identifying Registrant as a Cyprus limited company (as opposed to a Cyprus limited liability company) have been questioned by the Post Registration Division.

Such correction should resolve the issue raised by the Specialist. If there are any remaining questions, please contact the undersigned counsel.
