NOTICE OF SUSPENSION

 

This letter responds to the applicant’s Statement of Use (SOU) filed on July 21, 2003.  The minimal requirements for the SOU has been met and made part of the record.  The applicant (1) deleted Class 09 and amended the identification in Class 28 to “toy vehicles, dolls, toy action figures and accessories therefor, construction toys, and toy building blocks and connecting links for the same” and (2) recorded a name change with the Assignment Branch.  No. 1 is accepted and made of record.  Therefore, action is suspended on this application pending recordation of the assignment.  This application will be removed from suspended status upon recordation of the assignment. Notification of recordation is normally done through Office channels.  However, upon receipt of the reel and frame number of the assignment, applicant should advise the Examining Attorney. See 37 C.F.R. Part 3.

 

Fee increase effective January 1, 2003

Effective January 1, 2003, the fee for filing an application for trademark registration will be increased to $335.00 per International Class.  The USPTO will not accord a filing date to applications that are filed on or after that date that are not accompanied by a minimum of $335.00. 

 

Additionally, the fee for amending an existing application to add an additional class or classes of goods/services will be $335.00 per class for classes added on or after January 1, 2003.
