As explained to the applicant’s attorney on January 10, 2003, the application has been AMENDED as indicated below. Please note that the time within which an acceptable response was due has expired. To avoid abandonment of the application, the identification of goods in classes 5 and 9 has been amended as follows. No response is necessary.
In class 5, “arrays embedded with DNA consisting of medical diagnostic reagents” is deleted because it exceeds the scope of goods originally set forth.
In class 9, “arrays embedded with DNA for diagnostic and therapeutic research use” is deleted because it identifies goods not in class 9, and the wording is essentially already part of the identification of goods in class 1.
