Response to Office Action for Post-Registration Matters

To the Commissioner for Trademarks:

The following is submitted for registration number. 2416611 GOLF :

FORM INFORMATION

 

            This is in response to the Post Registration Office Action dated 12/30/10. 

            The Combined Section 8 Declaration and Section 9 Renewal Application (renewal application) was not accepted for the reason that title was not in the name of the applicant, Jeremy Wiesen.

            Attached hereto is a copy of the USPTO Notice of Recordation of Assignment Document recorded on 12/23/2010, the date of the filing of the renewal application.  The Assignment of the registration from The Sports Cosmetics Company Ltd. was duly recorded  upon filing of the renewal application and therefore the renewal should have been found acceptable.

            It is therefore requested that the renewal of Reg. No. 2,416,611 be duly recorded and that the deficiency surcharge be waived.
