Your response to the outstanding Office action regarding the Section 8 Affidavit & Section 9 Renewal was timely received on February 26, 2021. After consideration of the response and the facts of record, the refusal to accept the Section 8 Affidavit is maintained for the reason(s) set forth below.
Amendment to the Identification of Goods
The identification of goods and/or services set forth in the Section 8 Affidavit cannot be different from or broader in scope than those listed in the registration. The deletion of the limiting language “, all sold primarily to wholesale distributors in the professional salon trade” broadens the scope to any and all consumers.
DELETION FEE
There is a per-class fee for deleting goods and/or services during this time. Id.

A complete response must be received within 6 months from the issuance date of this Office action.
