EXPLANATION OF FILING

Registrant respectfully requests that the registration be amended to substitute the mark in the drawing filed concurrently herewith for that currently contained in the registration.

 

The attached specimen was in use in commerce at least as early as the date of this Section 7 Request.

The substitution of the version of the mark shown on the attached drawing for that currently shown in the registration is requested.  The character of the mark has not been materially altered by this revision.  In both instances, the representation of “KENNAMETAL” is essentially the same.
